28/1/09 - Updates to the site are now occurring.
My host, Lycos, has recently decided to close its doors in its WebHosting operations. They have shifted us to a new host, Strato, and this is the first real page to go online as such.
I will be spending several days, if not weeks, going over InfoNet and rebuilding it, adding in missing pages (which I've only more recently discovered) and recoding to add some remote codes (just to make it easier for little lazy me! :P).
During this time period, pages which were there before may be missing. I only ask for your patience during these alterations, navigate where you can, and looks for links that might have been saved, either by you, or in your URL history.
You never know - some of those pages may already be back online... ;)
Hi there! Welcome to InfoNet!
InfoNet is... Well, it's a site with random things on it... Some things are informative and helpful, other things are just my interests and/or thoughts, maybe some things other people might be interested in (menu is below, if you wanna take a look around). But, generally, I don't have any one subject that would fill a site... So, there's odd bits and pieces here and there. But, it's all sorted into categories of sorts, so it's all good! :D
I like to help people. Normally, it's more the newbies I like to help, however, sometimes even much more experienced people need help, and I'm happy to help them, too. As such, I do have a 216-colour picker, and have more planned, including definitions for not only colours, but basic coding and other things.
I have an interest in writing. I began by writing in post-by-post role-playing, and have since progressed to writing stories. Completed stories are on this site, though at the time of writing this, I have very few contributions to offer - my storylines seem to become very large, and I need alot of time to finish them. My style of writing also brings about alot of typing, and that requires time, and mood. However, any stories you find on here, I believe you will enjoy - attention to detail is one of my "quirks"... lol...
Rarely, I feel the urge to write poetry, as well. I don't particularly like poetry, but when the urge is there, it's taken and run with. You will also find my (very few) poems here.
I'm not big on gaming, but there are some I like. A free MMORPG called Endless Online is one of them. I'm currently in the progress of making a few tables explaining a little bit about the game, like indexing prices and enemies and such. The original idea was for it to be for my use only, but have since thought that it may come in handy for other players, and so am working to put it together for those players.
I also play other games, mostly computer-based, for example, The Sims 2, Zoo Tycoon and SimCity 4. Perhaps, if I'm bored one day, I might also do up some bits and pieces on those, as well, stuff you don't find in the strategy guides and such.
Anyways, for now, I can't think of much else to say about the site, except that InfoNet is still under construction, therefore "linked" pages may be missing here and there... Other pages may not exist at this stage, but are linked through - this generally means the page is in the planning/creation stage, but not yet online...
