Edge of Infinity (EoI for short) is a Role-Play board, pure and simple. But what isn't so simple about this site is, I am trying to put as many Role-Play types into the board as I can think of.
Unfortunately, my personal interests exclude many RP types out there, as does my lack of exposure to current and past hits. In this respect, EoI really does need your help to prosper. I am relying on members to suggest RP-type boards and sub-boards. I am doing this to make EoI one of the most diverse RP sites on the InterNet, which means for all your RPers out there, there's more of an opportunity to try other RP types to your normal type/s, and to socialize with RPers of every type, experience level and skill.
This is the first site I ever made (early 2005). It was based on The Matrix, but sort of turned more into a general forum, though many of us at this site know each other.
This is where the group I fondly call "The Gang" came to be in its entirety.
An online security and safety website, owned by All Seeing Eyes of ProBoards® Support, co-owned by me. This site was originally designed as a guide for ProBoards® site owners, and has since expanded to include safety and security tips, advice and resources for all your online activities.
"Secure your site, visit the Safety Network, where you can find all sorts of useful hints, tips, and programmes."
This site is about road safety, car crashes, road safety, driver training, road safety, bike crashes, road safety, and being safe on the roads. Did I mention road safety?
In all seriousness, I can't stand seeing so many people die or be injured on the roads - needlessly. So, this site is my attempt to work out my frustrations at not being able to do anything about it, by doing something about it.
This site is mainly for permanently posting stories, poems and artwork, created by you, able to be viewed by the rest of the Internet.
The archived threads will never be deleted, so you never run the risk of losing your work.
In late 2004, I got online for the first time. I explored the InterNet (as you do), and went looking for sites I thought I might like. At the time I was seriously into The Matrix (still am, really), so I went looking for Matrix-based sites.
I came across a site called The Matrix Online, which was based on Role-Playing, with some other areas for the members of the site. I read through, then registered and started posting. This is where I discovered my writing talent.
Some months passed, and I left the old MxO to post at a friend's site instead, returning only rarely to read. But unfortunately, this was unable to continue, because in 2005, the game The Matrix Online was sold to Sony Online Entertainment (it was originally owned and created by Warner Bros), and the site that so many Matrix fans grew to love, was no more.
Young MxO is my tribute to the original MxO forums. Come and enjoy a world in the Matrix, where anything is possible.
