| History | Her parents were murdered by Agents while she was still a BluePill. She was told it was a car crash, but never believed that, but she knew, from that moment on, that there was something not quite right about the world she lived in. She feared that she would be next to be killed, and so, left her family home, to move a far distance away.
She started school again, being mid-way through Year 11, made friends, and had a new life in four weeks. Two weeks after that (six weeks after her parents' deaths), she received a call from Ghost, while in class, and she believed what he had to say. She met Niobe and Ghost behind the school, and left with them. She was never bugged, and took the truth about the Matrix better than most.
Since being freed, she served for a short time, about seven months, aboard the Logos II. At first, she refused most of the training, but, after she allied herself with a group, she got into a fight with some exiles, and was only saved when another exile, Relic, saved her life. She has since completed her training.
She fell deeply in love with Relic, despite the danger from Commander Lock. But, on a mission that Lock sent Relic on, in an effort to destroy him, he disappeared, and no one knew what had happened to him. She feared the worst, but still, held hope in her heart that he had survived.
After three days with no word on Relic's whereabouts, it was too painful to stay aboard the Logos II, so she requested a transfer to another ship. She was transferred to a ship called the Spectre, captained by a man named Edsel. Captain Edsel was not well liked, and Switch regretted asking for the transfer. However, one month after her transfer, they were sent for an extraction. The being they Awakened to the Real World was no longer entirely human, and Edsel protested her return to Zion. A fight ensured between Edsel and the crew, ending when Edsel was killed during the fight. They tried to limp back to Zion, but as a parting gift, Edsel had sabotaged the Spectre's systems, which he had intended to use to pin one of the crew as a traitor. Because of Edsel's death, he was unable to reverse the main capacitor feedback shunt he had started, with the result the Spectre blew up spectacularly before the crew arrived at Zion. Everyone survived.
Another hovercraft was dispatched to find what had become of the Spectre and her crew, and they were returned to Zion. Upon their return, the crew was immediately signed up to other hovercraft, and Switchblade was assigned to the Valkyrie, along with another crew member called Rave.
Though she is impatient, she proved herself invaluable to Captain, the captain of the Valkyrie at the time, impressing him with her knowledge and skills. Within one month of the transfer to the Valkyrie, Captain raised Switchblade's rank to that of First Mate, a title she bore with pride.
Captain has since left the Valkyrie for a job within the city of Perspicuus Spero, and promoted Switchblade to Captain of the Valkyrie, a job which Captain believes Switchblade is uniquely suited to.
Since she has joined the crew of the Valkyrie, Relic and Switchblade have been reunited, after three months of separation from each other. Now, they fight side by side within the Matrix, carrying out their missions with the ease and companionship of long-time partners. They plan to get married one day.
