- Sands of Time
Have you ever gotten a sudden, insane urge to do something? Go bike riding, watch a particular movie, eat a certain food? One that had to be done right there and then?
That was how this poem came to be born. I was reading a rather dark novel, and I just suddenly had the urge to write this poem, and, somehow, everything was already in place in my mind.
Amazing feeling, and I couldn't have asked for more from this poem.
- Just Because
This is one of the first poems I ever wrote.
I was talking to one of my bestest online friends, All Seeing Eyes, and the topic was of how women, even in today's society, are treated as inferior to men, notably in places like car mechanics shops.
Amusingly, the poem didn't follow the topic of conversation... :P
